About Us

The Krewe of Jupiter was formed in January 2003 with the goal of providing Baton Rouge with a nightime New Orleans Style Co-Ed Mardi Gras Krewe.

The main values that crafted the formation of the Krewe of Jupiter were Fun, Friendly, Fulfilling and Futuristic. These four core values are held as the key ingredients to all organizational business.

Jupiter is committed to providing an exhillarating Mardi Gras experience for everyone involved. Through Jupiter you will meet many new lasting friendships and rekindle old friendships.

Jupiter will offer opportunities for interested members to participate in the creativity of the krewe. Members will have the opportunity to serve as Krewe Captains, Board of Directors, Float Lts., Event Coordinators, etc. Last, but not least, the krewe will push the envelope of creativity of Baton Rouge Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is here to stay and the Krewe of Jupiter will shape its future.
